— Statement of faith

What grounds the conversation.

These convictions shape how Nathan teaches, listens, and invites others into the life of faith. The aim is not to win arguments, but to live faithfully within a tradition worth passing on.

01

Scripture

The Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the inspired and infallible Word of God — the final authority in all matters of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 1:17).

02

God

There is only one true and eternal God, who eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7).

03

Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to righteousness and salvation (1 Corinthians 1:30-31).

04

Salvation

By repentance and faith, confessing Jesus as Lord and believing in the resurrection, a person receives salvation and regeneration by the Holy Spirit — offered to all, effective for those who believe (Romans 10:9-13; Ephesians 1:13).

05

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God, coequal with the Father and the Son, empowering believers to live godly lives. Spiritual gifts remain active today for the building up of the body of Christ (Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12:7).

06

The second coming

Christ will physically and imminently return. Those who believe will be resurrected to an incorruptible, heavenly dwelling (Matthew 25:46; 1 Corinthians 15).

07

The church

The true Church is comprised of all born-again believers, regardless of denomination, commissioned to proclaim the Gospel to all the world (Matthew 28:16-20; Hebrews 10:25).

08

Healing

The redemptive work of Christ on the cross includes healing for the body — it is God's will for the sick to receive bodily healing by faith (Isaiah 53:4; 1 Peter 2:24).

09

Marriage & sexuality

God instituted marriage between one man and one woman as biologically designated at birth, reserving intimate sexual activity for that covenant (Genesis 2:24; Hebrews 13:4).

10

Sanctity of life

A unique human life bearing the image of God begins at conception. All human life is sacred from conception until natural death, and the Church must defend and value it (Psalm 139:14-16).
